It has been a little while since the last Cooking with pinterest, but here we are again! If you love Nutella this recipe is going to make you very very happy. If you are on a diet that does not involve eating Nutella, than you might want to skip this blogpost.
Let’s get started!
What you will need:
- SALTED butter
- Dark or semi-sweet chocolate (chips) I used a dark chocolate bar and chopped it into little bits.
- 2 large eggs plus 1 egg yolk
- All purpose flour
If you would like to add a topping:
- Your favourite kind of nuts
If you want the excact measurements and instructions visit the blog that I found this recipe on through pinterest.
I saw some more awesome looking recipes on this blog, so I can recommend to check it out!
The main reason, besides the mouthwatering pictures, why I wanted to try this recipe is because it said one bowl. I love baking, but I hate cleaning so an one bowl recipe sounds perfect to me.
First step is to melt the salted butter and a part of the chocolate in a saucepan.
After everything is completely melted, we are going to add in the Nutella. Stir very well and remove from heat. So far so good! Also how cute is my wooden spoon?!
Now it’s time to add in the sugar, the eggs, the yolk and lastly the flour. Stir your heart out, and when all is combined well you will fold in the leftover chocolate.
Pour your batter into a lightly greased baking dish and bake in the oven!
Upto this moment I’m still very satisfied with the recipe, the preperation literally took me 10-15 minutes max! And licking my spoon made me even more excited about the final result.
I set my timer on 25 minutes, checked and decided to leave it in for a few more minutes before taking it out. Now, the hardest part of this recipe letting it cool for 30 minutes! I just wanted to take a huge bite immediatly.
After 30 minutes it was time to decorate with some more Nutella, because too much Nutella doesn’t exist, and roughly chopped walnuts.
So am I satisfied with the final result? Or did I expect more? I’ve had a lot of brownies in my 19 years on this earth, but oh my lord this brownie stole my heart. Firm on the outside and gooey/fudgy on the inside. The perfect brownie if you ask me! And besides the perfect taste, the recipe is so incredibly easy! I think that if you love baking and chocolate you will always have these ingredients in your pantry. Perfect for birthdays, christmas, or when you have unexpected guests for dinner!
You could obvioulsy change the topping into anything your heart desires. But the Nutella was good enough for me.
If I should rate this recipe on a scale from 1, lowest to 10, highest I will give it a…. 10!
Seriously, try this recipe yourself and tell me what you think! It was delicious and super easy which is a win win for me.
